In November 2023, Angie and I travelled to Anaheim, California, for NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience, the National Association of REALTORS®’ annual conference and expo.
We went with a simple purpose: to keep learning. Real estate is our everyday work, but stepping outside our familiar surroundings gives us room to look at that work with fresh eyes.
A wider view of our industry
The event brought real estate professionals together at the Anaheim Convention Center from November 14 to 16. Walking through the expo gave us a closer look at the tools, services, and ideas being shared in a much larger property market.
There is value in making time for experiences like this. They encourage us to ask questions about how we work, how we communicate, and what we can do better for the people who trust us.
What it means for our clients
Many of our conversations begin online, including with clients living overseas who are considering a home or rental investment in the Philippines. Clear information and a personal connection matter when you are making decisions from a distance.
Our reason for continuing to learn is practical. We want to present properties more clearly, make conversations easier, and help you feel comfortable asking questions. That is the work we want to keep improving.
Still learning, together
This trip is a fond memory for both of us, and part of our commitment to growing in the profession. We’re grateful for opportunities to learn beyond Cebu and bring that curiosity back to our everyday work with clients.
